Language, Literacy and Numeracy (LLN)

We offer a wide range of English language, literacy and numeracy suport in response to the needs of individuals

and the community.

Foundation Skills courses in reading, writing, basic maths, oral communication and technology are offered to help you communicate better in the workplace and at home.

We can provide assistance if you are returning to study, seeking work or if English is not your first language.

You will gain confidence and skills in a friendly and

supportive learning environment.

We also offer free LLN support if your are a Vocational Education and Training (VET) student, to help you to achieve the level of LLN required for nationally accredited training.

Trainers and assessors will confirm the Language, Literacy and Numeracy (LLN) skills of each learner, and make adjustments to training programs accordingly.  Assessments will ensure that the LLN skill levels of the learner meet the requirements of the unit of competency or workplace function.

Training is available in Foundation Skills through the ACE Community Service Obligation Program and Smart and Skilled Program (see 'Training Support').
