Join Pete for a morning bushwalk through the Point Perpendicular trails around the Dunbogan headland. Along the way, explore the use of aperture and shutter priority modes on your DSLR camera and practice shooting landscapes, birds, spiders and flora in the morning light. The group will meet at the trail entrance adjacent to 32 Bergalia Crescent.
Required knowledge: A beginner understanding of aperture, shutter speed and ISO. Ideally you have attended the Introduction to DSLR Photography course or similar.
Required Equipment: DSLR Camera and lens(es), or a compact camera with Manual modes.
Required Ability: Sure-footed and reasonable fitness health to be able to traverse the hills and natural unpaved trails (Grade 3 Trail) for a three hour 4km walk.
Recommended to bring: Drinking water, sunscreen, insect repellent, appropriate clothing and footwear.
Cancellations due to weather may be necessary and in this instance the college will reschedule the class. No guarantees can be made for perfect weather conditions but hopefully we will get lucky on the day!
