Enrolment Information

 

  • All students will be asked to fill out an Enrolment application each time they commence a course.

 

  • If a course is already full your enrolment will be returned / re-credited immediately, unless you redirect it to another course.  We will call you.

 

  • If WE cancel a course we will refund by cheque or re-credit your credit card.

 

  • You will be entitled to a refund for a college course, if you give CHCC one week's notice of cancellation, before a course begins.

 

  • NO REFUNDS for any course, training or event that is externally arranged where the college has committed fees or funds prior to the start.

 

  • Where extreme circumstances prevent attendance, a session credit / lesson transfer/other may be arranged, at the discretion of the Manager.

 

  • Once you send payment you are enrolled unless we tell you otherwise.  WE DO NOT CONFIRM ENROLMENTS.  Please note the date, time and location of the course as advertised.

 

  • Once a student has enrolled, paid and commenced their course, fees are non-refundable and relevant for the duration of that course only.

 

  • Should a period of 6 months occur without any student activity, that student is considered withdrawn from that course and the fees are neither refundable nor carried over to another course.

 

  • Any special arrangements may be negotiated with the Manager of Camden Haven Community College.

  • Depending on circumstances, assistance with fees may be available in the form of payment plans, government subsidised training, subsidises for disadvantaged participants in VET courses and scholarships.

 

CERTIFICATES

(for Accredited Courses)

  • Students will need to provide some form of photographic identification (driver’s licence, passport, etc.) with their full legal name on it.  This is a requirement for issuing of Certificates and Statements of Attainment.

 

  • Other documentation may need to be provided if the training offered is supported by public funding.

 

  • Students who successfully complete the requirements of our accredited courses will receive a Certificate or a Statement of Atttainment.

 

  • Recognition of Prior Learning (RPL) is available.  If you wish to have prior experience recognised please contact us for further information.

  • The college policies and procedures comply with the Standards for RTOs. Refer to the website www.chace.org.au.  Further policies and procedures or copies may be obtained on request from the college.

 

COURSES AT OTHER VENUES

Some of our courses are arranged with other organisations or at other venues. Please ensure you confirm the venue, dates and arrangements.

 

PUBLIC HOLIDAYS

If a session of your course falls on a public holiday it will not be conducted on that day and your course will be extended by one session or by arrangement with the tutor.

 

CHILDREN

Children cannot accompany participants into adult classes.  Students must be over 15 years to enrol in a class.

DISABLED ACCESS

The College has disability access and conveniences.  Please inform us in advance if you have special needs.

UNIQUE STUDENT IDENTIFIER

 

 

Every student undertaking any

accredited course must have a

Unique Student Identifer.

 

Log on to  www.usi.gov.au,

and follow the steps.

 

Please put this

Unique Student Identifier

on your Enrolment application.
